‘SlowDown’ is a spatial typographic installation commissioned by Het Plafond in Rotterdam. A big vinyl message pasted on the gallery’s window draws the atentions of people walking by. By taking a minute and looking through the window, one is rewarded with a second typographic message hidden on the ceilng. In the project ‘Slow Down’, artificial light and shadow play the leading role. A light bulp is projected on the ceiling through a specificly placed mirror and ‘floating’ paper wad’s. The shade of the paper wad’s creates the second typographic image.
